Not necessarily. Most audits are completed through interviews, documentation, and data from your accounts or contracts. Technical access (e.g. to servers) is requested only where it adds concrete value.
Depends on the scope. Some actions are simple enough for your IT to handle internally. Larger projects (new system selection, IT team restructuring) I can coordinate — that becomes a new engagement.
